The Garden

Construction began in June 2010 on the creation of a lovely new garden just to the west of the Conservatory building.  Named the Herbert M. Rubinstein Memorial Garden, it is in honor of Dr. Herbert Rubinstein and his wife, Elvira, who with others founded the Friends of the Oak Park Conservatory in 1986.

The garden opened on July 9, 2011.  It is beautiful and a wonderful addition to the Conservatory.  Stop in and view the new garden.

The Garden is open to all during the day and available for rentals in the evening.
